Prior to establishing my own company, I worked for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services where I was a Child Care Licensing Inspector for nearly 8 years. With the knowledge and experience that I have obtained I use the minimum standards to help childcare operations reach their greatest potential. 

 

Through the years of being an inspector I often felt that I could be more useful to the child care community if I could take a more individualized approach. I realized that childcare facilities, though accountable for the same standards, each have their own individual needs and if those needs are met then it would help them to maintain compliance with the minimum standards and in turn provide better care to children.

The difference will be the methods used to generate improvement. I want to help meet the needs of each individual operation and help raise the standard of care in facility. It’s my belief that with the right support any operation can be a successful.
